Family Care Medical Services provides high quality after hours primary medical care to the Sunshine Coast through our after hours GP clinic and our home visiting services (available to the patients of subscribing GPs).

After Hours Home Visiting Services

We understand that when sickness strikes overnight, or on the weekend, there are very few doctor's surgeries open and the emergency centres are overcrowded and have long waiting times.  Often, it is impractical, or even impossible, to leave home in the middle of the night to get to a doctor.  When a General Practitioner subscribes to our service, we provide their patients access to our home visiting service, which is just a phone call away.  Our Medical Referral Assesors will take the patient's details and arrange for a doctor to visit the patient in the comfort and convenience of their own home.

After Hours GP Clinic

Family Care Medical Services operates an After Hours GP clinics at Caloundra.  Located in the Caloundra Public Hospital adjacent to the Emergency Department, our After Hours GP clinic provides an alternative to waiting for treatment in the Emergency Department for patients with minor illnesses.   No appointments are necessary and most consultations are bulk billed.
